1. Spray Roots Only:
Getting the correct amount of volume works best when your hair is a day dirty. Separate the top of your hair into 5-6 sections and spray the dry shampoo to your roots. Then gently massage it into your scalp. Apply the Amika Dry Shampoo to your roots only.
- Tip: Once you have sprayed enough dry shampoo on your roots and messaged it thoroughly, flip your hair upside down and blow dry your roots for 15-20 seconds.
2. Tease Roots Only:
Next, take your rat tail comb and across the top of your head horizontally, section off your hair into 3-4 smaller sections. Tease your hair just at the root section only. If you tease the whole strand of hair it will cause breakage. Smooth all of the sections backwards when done teasing all of the sections.
- Tip: Use the pointed end of the comb to create smooth sections of hair horizontally across the top of your head. Start at your forehead and work backwards.
3. Pull All Hair Back:
Take your "No Slip" Headband and put it around your neck. Then start to pull all of your hair back into a ponytail. The teased volume at the top should stay and start to form shape.
- Tip: Use the rat tail comb to smooth out the sides and under the ponytail of gathered hair.
4. Wrap Rubber Bands Around Hair:
Choose 2-3 Rainbow Loom Rubber Bands, I like to match the colors to my outfit. I prefer the Rainbow Loom Rubber Bands because they don't break my hair and I can wear them all day with out them popping or breaking.
5. Use Bobby Pins & Spray Bump
My hair is shorter so I need 2 bobby pins right under my ponytail to hold it all in tight. If your hair is longer you might not to use the bobby pins. Spray a light to medium layer of hair spray across the top of the bump and any "fly away" hair needed.
All Finished
I hope you enjoy this hair style as much as I do!

Marlee
